- Many people still use their smart phones just for making calls or checking out what is happening on Facebook but there is so much more that they can do. Here's a list of my favourite Android apps:
Shazam recognises what music is playing. When I'm watching a movie or TV and I hear a song that I don't know I just Shazam it and then it recognises the song and gives options such as watch the video for free on YouTube or even buy the song.
I have many books on my Kindle Reader at my office but I can also access those books by using the Kindle reader on my phone.
The YouTube App makes it really easy to upload your videos to YouTube where you can then easily edit them. See the tutorial on how to do it here.
ES File Manager
This powerfull file manager not only allows me to browse my office network to copy files but it also allows me to browse files on my servers through the Internet.
Very handy guitar tuner.
Most of my documents, graphics and even configurations for servers and devices are stored in Google Drive which I can access easily from my phone.
One last thing. If you want to track your Android devices you can do it with Android Device Manager here: https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager
If you can suggest other great Android Apps please comment.
